Another week of volatility and uncertainty on Wall Street… although a rally appears to be well underway in the Nasdaq issues. The Nasdaq composite index closed out the week at 3860… the test will be how well the rally sustains itself when the Nasdaq composite crosses over the 4000 mark.

Last week's Stockprowler report hit the Internet on Monday just as the market was dropping into the tank… not particularly helpful for our pick, WIZZF. And we thought WIZZF was an incredible pick… still do. News…WSi Interactive announced this past week its launch of DNS Media, Inc. to deliver streaming video services to broadcast markets in the U.S. and Canada. Here's a link to the story.

FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. is a Massachusetts based developer and marketer of advanced proprietary video scan conversion (PC-to-TV) products. The company's products merge computer generated graphics and television displays for presentations, training, education, video teleconferencing, Internet viewing and home gaming. FOCUS Enhancements TView products are cutting edge and according to the estimates of financial analysts have captured about 58 percent of the PC-to-TV market… customers include world class manufacturers like Phillips, Samsung, Panasonic, Apple, and Zenith.

Recently, the company has been busy developing a family of products that will enable existing television sets, VCR's and camcorders to remain functional in the upcoming switch to HDTV (digital High-Definition TV). In the next year or so, TV stations will begin transmitting in digital format… and by 2006, all broadcasting will be digital. The consumer will have two options: either junk their present TV and spend as much as several thousand dollars for a new digital HDTV, or opt to spend $200 on a set top converter box. Focus Enhancements, Inc. holds key patents on this technology and is aggressively targeting the latter.

Shares of FCSE jumped 61% on Friday closing at 2 7/32 on volume of 1,552,800 shares… FCSE announced that it was teaming with California based ICTV Inc. to integrate FOCUS' FS450 video convergence technology into ICTV's platform.
